No. Beginners are welcome in Core's Krav Maga, Hapkido, Kickboxing, Kid Ninjas, and Junior Self-Defense programs. Your instructor will help you begin at an appropriate pace.
Core offers Krav Maga, Hapkido, beginner and advanced Kickboxing, Kid Ninjas for ages 4–8, Junior Self-Defense for ages 8–13, private lessons, and custom seminars.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water. You do not need a uniform or special equipment for your first class unless Core tells you otherwise.
Krav Maga focuses on practical real-world personal protection. Hapkido combines strikes, kicks, joint locks, throws, and control techniques in a traditional Korean martial art. Kickboxing develops striking technique, footwork, conditioning, and optional competitive skills.
Yes. Kid Ninjas serves ages 4–8, while Junior Self-Defense serves ages 8–13. Both programs develop age-appropriate self-defense, confidence, coordination, focus, discipline, and respect.
